Expect surprises—and a fresh perspective on wartime innovation.About the Speaker: Richard is a freelance professional historian residing in Berkshire, specialising in industrial, military, and railway history, as well as the history of science. Currently his research focuses on industrial and social change during the Victorian era, the progression of Britain's railway and canal systems in the latter half of the 19th century, and the broader history of British industry.Tickets: Entry is free but we rely totally on donations to cover our costs! - Hall, speaker, drink etc. We suggest £5 per person - or whatever you can afford.
