�St John’s Church, Lemsford Fete

We'll be following the usual tradition where we gather outside by the war memorial at ten to eleven, sing a hymn, say the Exhortation and remember those that died during the wars and conflicts. We then keep a 2 min silence, the end of which coincides with the church clock striking 11.

There is then the Reveille on the trumpet (or Flügel  horn in our case), then poppies and the wreath are laid, then a prayer, then we return inside.

You'll also be able to see Marion and Doreen's beautiful River of poppies inside the church.

You're most welcome to join us, and don't worry if you don't want to stand outside, we'll be bringing the audio from the service inside the church.

Sunday Club will be on during the service too.
