AGES 7-18 years

At Stage to Film School, you will learn how to take performance from the stage to the screen. Whether you are a dancer, singer, actor, performer, or someone interested in directing, cinematography, or editing, our workshops are designed to give everyone the chance to explore both the front and back of the camera.

We are launching monthly workshops for anyone who would like to develop their skills, build confidence, and learn more about the world of film and performance. Our aim is to create something exciting, inclusive, and inspiring a place where creativity can grow and where everyone has a role to play.

We are also hoping to collaborate with groups such as House of Harvey, as well as other clubs and organisations who may like us to come in and create promotional film content and cinematography for their group.

As part of this exciting new project, we are hoping to launch a summer workshop based around Matilda covers and performance pieces. We will be opening video auditions for lead roles including:

* 🌟Bruce
* 🌟Miss Honey
* 🌟Miss Trunchbull
* 🌟Additional lead dance roles

Our vision is to build a creative community that educates, inspires, and brings people together through filmmaking. We want to create opportunities for those who love being in front of the camera, as well as those who are passionate about making the magic happen behind the scenes.

What to expect in our workshops
Each session will include a mixture of practical performance and technical film training. The structure of the classes will include:

* 🌟Movement dance and drama work
* 🌟Cinematography basics
* 🌟Camera skills
* 🌟Editing introduction
* 🌟Script work
* 🌟Filming performance pieces
* 🌟Musical theatre numbers brought to life on screen

Our introductory class will be a chance to meet, get to know the project, and explore what Stage to Film School is all about. From there, our monthly workshops will continue to develop skills in performance, storytelling, filming, and editing.

We are so excited to begin this new journey and would love for people to get involved, support the project, and become part of this growing filmmaking community.

Places are limited, and spaces will only be secured once payment has been made for the workshop.
