Begin your Spanish learning journey and inmerse in the culture of Spain and Latin America.

These morning and evening courses for beginners are suitable for learners who have very little or no experience. The duration is 12 weeks (one hour a week) and the course fee is £160 (material included).

The course starts on:

1. Group 1: Tuesday 3 February at Castle Kitchen, Montgomery (10AM).

2. Group 2: Tuesday 3 February at The Raven, Welshpool (6PM).

3. Group 3: Wednesday 4 February at The Raven, Welshpool (11AM).

4. Group 4: Wednesday 4 Feb at Hafan Yr Afon, Newtown (7PM).

What will we cover?
1. Pronunciation 

2. Greetings and introductions

3. Family and friends: description of people

4. Likes and dislikes

5. Cities and towns: Description of places

6. Eating out: Ordering food and drinks 

7. Shopping

What will I achieve?

By the end of this course, you should be able to use your Spanish and have the confidence to deal with authentic situations such as: 

* to introduce yourself and others

* to greet and open conversations

* to ask and answer basic questions

* to describe professions, physical and personality traits of people

* to express likes and dislikes

* to order food and drinks in a restaurant, cafe or bar

* to buy items in shops and ask about the price 

* to ask information about places  

* to ask general questions about transportation, tickets and schedules
