- **Event Description**: This is AVUK's third bi-annual Christmas Concert in the beautiful church of St Mary's in Welshpool. The first one we did at the end of 2020 and it got banished out the water as another restriction came in.. but we endeavoured and did it.

we came back in 2023 and held a wonderful two night concert with singers from all over the country coming to perform and other local Choirs too, it received with so much joy, but we didn't fill the church...

This year we have every intention of filling this church, as a Musical director of Llaniddloes Tenovus Choir we have come together to raise funds and to sing and remember those we have loved who won't be with us this Christmas.  It will be a special, way to start December and get into the Christmas spirit, full of love, peace and joy in our hearts.

We have some wonderful guest singers Including Cathy Beech (Of Course), The students of Llaniddloes High and O Welshpool Kids Voices. Also sharing the banner of hope for Christmas will be the beautiful singer Annie Jenna, someone I have had the privilege of supporting whilst she found her way to becoming a professional singer... She is amazing!

it's a fun packed night, with a raffle, mince pies, Christmas cake and mulled wine.

The Church will be full of Christmas trees.. it will be a slice of musical heaven in the most beautiful church this side of the border.

The acoustics are amazing too.
