Core Concept

Players earn League Chips over the course of the 3-week league. These chips are used exclusively in a final end-of-league auction.

No prizes are awarded during league play — everything is decided at the final auction.

How Players Earn Chips
Game Participation & Placement

Players earn chips through normal league play based on performance, plus bonuses based on deck power level.

Base Chip Earnings:

Participation chips (baseline awarded per game played)
Placement chips (awarded based on finishing position)
Deck Level Bonus / Penalty System

Deck strength is classified into levels before play:

Level 1 Deck: +120 bonus chips
Level 2 Deck: +60 bonus chips
Level 3 Deck: +10 bonus chips
Level 4 Deck: -40 chips
Level 5 Deck: -80 chips

These values are added to or subtracted from total chips earned that game or event.

Epic Achievements (Bonus Chip System)

Throughout the league, players can earn Epic Achievements.

Achievements are open to all players
Each has a unique challenge
Each grants bonus chips based on difficulty


Rewards scale by difficulty, with chip values assigned per achievement tier.

Chip Total Rules

At the end of each league event:

Players calculate:
Base chips earned
Plus or minus deck level modifier
Plus achievement bonuses

All totals are added to the player’s league bank.

End of League: Auction

After 3 weeks:

Auction Format
Players use all accumulated chips to bid on prizes
Highest bidder wins each item
All prizes are distributed only through the auction

Design Intent
High power decks are penalized (-chips)
Lower power decks gain catch-up bonuses
