From Derreck's Sister 
While working in his tree cutting business, he was in a terrible accident with a stump grinder. He was life-flighted to Munson Medical Center in Traverse City. After surgery, the doctors determined his foot cannot be saved and it will be amputated tomorrow.
His wife, Amy, and my parents are by his side. This is an incredibly difficult time for all of us, and the road ahead will be long. He does not have insurance, and the medical bills, recovery, rehabilitation, and the care he will need are overwhelming.
We are setting up a fundraiser to help with his medical expenses and to support him and Amy as they face this life-changing journey. If you feel led to give, any amount will make a difference. If you can’t give, please share this and keep him in your prayers. ❤️
