- **Event Description**: On Saturday, May 31st, we will be hosting a Song Leader Workshop with our special guest Michael Hersey! The day's schedule looks like this -  

SATURDAY, MAY 31
• 9AM-12PM - Saturday Song Leader Workshop: PART I
- This is a workshop intended for those interested in learning more about leading songs and leading worship in general. Experienced song leaders as well as those completely new to it are all welcome. We also encourage the younger guys, who haven’t obeyed the gospel yet, to attend. They are encouraged to learn and participate in the practice even though they are not ready to lead in the worship service. While this is a more casual class setting, it will always have a spiritual focus.
• 12PM-1PM - LUNCH (on your own)
• 1PM-4PM - Saturday Song Leader Workshop: PART II
• 7PM - Congregational Singing - “Our Sacrifice of Worship” (Lesson and singing) - EVERYONE is invited!!

FRIDAY, MAY 30 
• 7PM - Congregational Singing - “Seeing God on His Throne"(Lesson and singing) - EVERYONE is invited!!

SUNDAY, JUNE 1
• 10AM - Sunday Morning Bible Study - “Instrumental Music from a Historical Perspective” – Instrumental music was not used by any denomination for centuries and did not become mainstream until the 1800s.
This study looks at what arguments were used against instrumental music in worship for all those centuries.
• 10:45AM - “The Lamb of God”
• 6:30PM - “Looking to Heaven” (Preaching and singing)

• Qualifications of a worship leader – a study of Asaph
• Responsibilities of a worship leader
• Pitching songs
• Leading with the hands
• Using dynamics
• Arranging a worship service – coordinating with the speaker
• As much practice and discussion as possible
