- **Event Start and End Date**: Wed, 04 Nov, 2026 at 01:00 pm – Wed, 04 Nov, 2026 at 03:00 pm (-05:00)
- **Event Description**: The holidays have always been a time when small towns come together and neighbors look out for one another. This year, we’re inviting everyone to bring in those holiday cards tucked away in drawers and boxes and share them at our Holiday Card Writing Workshop.

And we invite card makers to bring their creations to share as well! Together, we’ll write a few heartfelt words and send the cards to residents of local nursing homes and to people in our community who may be spending the holidays alone.

A handwritten card arriving in the mailbox can remind someone that they are still a valued part of this community. Sometimes, all it takes is a few handwritten words to remind someone that they haven’t been forgotten—and that they still have a place in the heart of Wellsboro.

This workshop is presented by George Loughery and sponsored by The Deane Center for the Performing Arts.

Join us in the grand community room on the second floor!
