Join us this half-term for a welcoming, energising community drumming session at Wells Cathedral.

This is an all-ages, any-ability drumming workshop with a simple aim: bringing people together to enjoy the shared experience of making music. No previous musical experience is needed. Whether you’ve never picked up a drum before or you already love to play, there’s space for you here.

Led by experienced facilitators Jo Coomber and Emma Wheat, the session invites everyone to explore rhythm in a way that feels natural and accessible. Participants are encouraged to find their own voice through drumming, listening to one another and contributing in a way that suits them. It’s collaborative, creative, and rooted in connection rather than performance.

The 45-minute session is lively and focused, making it a great half-term activity for families, while also being equally welcoming for anyone of any age or ability who want to experience a joyful and uplifting drumming session.
