An Exclusive Afternoon of Incredible Wine, Flavour & First Reveals

We invite you to join us for the Winemaker’s Long Table Lunch on Saturday, 30 August 2025, hosted at the exquisite 5-Star Doolhof Country House in Wellington - a rare and refined celebration of culinary artistry and winemaking mastery.

The experience begins at 12:00 for 12:30, with a welcome glass of Doolhof wine served on the lawn, surrounded by the estate’s serene beauty. Guests will then gather around our beautifully set long table for a eight-course tasting menu, thoughtfully designed to showcase the finest local, seasonal ingredients.

Each course will be exquisitely paired with a selection of Doolhof’s finest wines, carefully chosen to complement the flavours of the menu. As part of this unique experience, guests will also be treated to an exclusive first tasting of winemaker Rüdger van Wyk’s highly anticipated trio of debut wines. Presented by Rüdger himself, each new release will be introduced with personal insight into the inspiration, craftsmanship, and stories behind the bottle - offering a rare first look into the future of Doolhof wines.

This is a limited-seat, reservation-only experience - a luxurious afternoon of storytelling, flavour, and connection in one of Wellington’s most timeless settings.
