# Event Details

- **Event Name**: Pōneke Ngeru Rescue - Fundraising Market
- **Event Start and End Date**: Sat, 24 Oct, 2026 at 10:00 am – Sat, 24 Oct, 2026 at 03:00 pm (+13:00)
- **Event Description**: The Pōneke Ngeru Rescue - Fundraising Market is a bi-annual fundraiser, with the goal of creating a reliable source of funding for our rescue every six months.

Every single month, we spend between $20,000-$30,000 on vet bills. As a 100% donor-funded rescue, we often spend more than we receive, so fundraisers like this are absolutely foundational to keeping us going and ensuring we can continue helping cats in need.

Our markets will help us build up funds that can sustain the rescue between the big fundraising pushes and every dollar raised goes directly towards the care of our cats.

Are you a stallholder and want to be part of our market?

We’d love to have you! Please get in touch with Kiri at Kiri@ponekengerurescue.org to register your interest.

More info on stall holders coming soon! 💕
