- **Event Description**: Each Wednesday afternoon, The Animal Medical Centre and Family Kitchen with Mark team up to serve hot, tasty, family-friendly meals and freshly made, slowly fermented sourdough doughnuts. 
Set up in a gazebo outside the clinic, Mark prepares a fresh batch of doughnuts and generously portioned meals. 
This week's hot dish is Peri Peri Chicken with Pasta Mushroom Alfredo (not spicy).
Although we are using a peri-peri-based recipe, I can assure you that this dish won’t be spicy hot.

We marinade whole chickens that have been butterflied open to maximise flavour and taste. Rubbing the mixture, leaving to settle overnight, then grilling on both sides and roasting at a high temperature over onions and lemons.

After resting, we remove the meat and skin from the carcass and toss with green vegetables, baby spinach leaves and fresh lemon juice.

Served with pasta in a mushroom Alfredo sauce.
We can have your food ready in 5 minutes. If you'd like to pick up outside our event hours, don't hesitate to get in touch with the team to arrange it. 
Nothing is served spicy, making it perfect for everyone. Products can be pre-ordered through our website or picked up on the day. 
We plan and update the menu on a Monday or Tuesday.
