Nordic Folk Music Workshop with Dragkroka.

Dragkroka welcomes you to a workshop in Nordic folk music.

We will explore some of our favourite traditional melodies from Sweden, Denmark, and Norway. Tunes will be taught by ear, though there will still be plenty of fun stuff to learn for those less confident with this learning method.

We will focus on developing a flowing dance groove, crafting harmonies, and explore methods for variation and improvisation when playing in a group.

All instruments are welcome, though we recommend acoustic chromatic based instruments as there will be plenty of notes to learn.
