Now - more than ever - there is a focus on self-care and a revitalisation of our traditional healing practices.

This workshop will be held at The Manawa Ora whare hauora (clinic) in Glenside, Wellington.

Date: Saturday 22-23rd August
Please note spaces for this workshop are STRICTLY LIMITED.
This is a 2-day workshop only - not a noho-marae (sleepover).
Hours are 9am-4pm, Saturday and Sunday.
Please note this workshop will NOT qualify you as a practitioner. 

You will be introduced to Mirimiri and Romiromi; basic protocols and the philosophies that underpin practice, cultural concepts of health and wellbeing and the importance of selfcare.

If you are travelling from out of town please ensure you have made your own accommodation arrangements.  Morning teas and lunch provided

The cost of this workshop is $650. Please note spaces are strictly limited. You will need to pay in full when registering.

You will need to include information about yourself, where you are from, where you currently live and work and what you do for a living. Please outline the reasons why you want to attend, and what you hope to get out of attending.

FYI if you work in community, education, healthcare or social services you may be eligible to have your registration fees paid for under professional development or cultural training. Please enquire with your employer.

Jolie Davis (Ngāti Kurī /Te Rarawa) is founder of Manawa Ora - one of the leaders in the Rongoā Māori space, with a team of practitioners, full time clinic in Glenside, Wellington and weekly clinics in the Hutt and Masterton.  Jolie is a member on the ACC Rongoā Māori Advisory Panel.
