- **Event Description**: It's only March and we have another event coming up. On April 25th, 7pm at Wellington Prep School, we'll be hosting our next Liederabend. 

Working in partnership with Somerset Opera and Somerset Song Prize, this Liederabend event will be sure to inspire you!

Do you have a song that you would love to perform to a supportive live audience, but not quite ready to do a big solo?Then this is the place for you. Sing anything from Lieder/art song, folk songs, opera, operetta and musicals.

The Liederabend is an informal event that's full of warmth and encouragement, creating a safe intimate environment, for anyone (regardless of experience or age) who wants to take part! 

The deadline to register interest is April 1st 2026 and we’re asking for a minimum of 10 singers, so if you’re interested, please email somersetoperacompany@gmail.com. 

We’re asking that singers and audience members pay a suggested donation of £5 to take part/watch to help cover the running costs of this event.

Audiences welcome from 7pm!
