Calling all junior adventurers! 🗺️ As part of Gardens Magic 2026 explore the world of butterflies on the Kids Garden Trail in the beautiful Botanic Garden ki Paekākā. 🦋
Pick up an activity sheet and discover hidden scenes throughout the gardens. Post your completed activity sheet in the letterbox and be in to win some amazing prizes! 🏆

How it works:
👉 Follow the self-led trail to learn about all about butterflies and spot the Golden Butterfly!
👉 Pick up an activity sheet at the Soundshell, Treehouse, or main entrance of the Botanic Garden.
👉 Drop your completed sheet off at the above spots to enter the prize draw.
👉Perfect for tamariki, this is a fun, free way to spend a summer day exploring the great outdoors.
This event is a part of Gardens Magic, brought by Wellington City Council. Set amongst the natural beauty of the Wellington Botanic Garden ki Paekākā, this iconic and very Wellington summer event will paint the gardens with original lighting, activities for the kids, and the vibrant, powerful sounds of our capital’s musicians.
