If you think we need a change in government and you want progressive leadership for Wellington Bays, you will not want to miss Julie Anne Genter’s campaign launch on Sunday 2nd August from 4:00pm - 6:30pm at Lyall Bay Surf Live Saving Club.

The Green Party has policies that will make a meaningful difference here and across the country and Julie Anne and the Greens whānau cannot wait to share them with you.

Over the last three years Julie Anne has represented Rongotai with commitment, courage and compassion. She’s stuck up for constituents over Moa Point, the floods and government job cuts. She’s pushed hard for better transport solutions and advocated for better and more affordable housing. Her office has helped over 450 locals with everything from issues with healthcare and Work and Income to problems with immigration and housing.

Three years ago Julie Anne made history when she became the first person to win the Rongotai electorate who wasn’t a member of the Labour Party. This year she’s working hard to make history again and become the first Member of Parliament for Wellington Bays.

If you believe in progressive change, please join us for what will be a launch to remember. MC-ed by the one and only Emily Writes, there will be speeches by Julie Anne and other special guests, as well as delicious kai and light refreshments from fabulous local producers. 

The funds raised on this inspiring, energising, and fun evening will go towards covering the cost of the event and the campaign.
