Join Wellington indie folk-pop artist Julia Belle for an intimate one-off show featuring songs from her 2025 debut EP Dreamland. Blending raw lyricism with songs about mental health and a stripped-back band (Tyler Blythe on drums, Jasper West on bass), Julia has been compared to artists like Phoebe Bridgers, Noah Kahan, Adrienne Lenker, and Gracie Abrams. 

Julia will also play some songs from her upcoming sophomore EP, which she is currently recording. 
This is a night of connection, catharsis, and storytelling you won’t want to miss.

OPENER: Lucy Summerfield 

Lucy Summerfield’s music is threaded through with intention. She explores the full range of human experience in her work with her poignant lyrics. The way she weaves these together with carefully crafted melodies has seen her recognised nationally for her songwriting in both te reo Māori and English. 
Lucy Summerfield is a songwriter and producer from Motueka, now Pōneke based. Known for crafting songs with heartfelt stories, she has been recognised nationally for her songwriting in both te reo Māori and English. In 2024 she played 20 shows across venues such as Meow, Valhalla and the St James Theatre. This included a mini tour through Wellington, Nelson and Motueka. She also received the Joan Prior Award for folk music, performing a solo set at Welly Folk Fest and joining Nicola Mitchell on stage as a guest vocalist. This year Lucy Summerfield’s performances include sets at CupaDupa, Strawb Fest and Parliament. Her dedication to making music that connects with people has seen her continue to grow a loyal fanbase. Lucy is excited to continue creating connections through her music with an EP set to release next year.
