- **Event Description**: 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗮 – 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀, 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆

Three Filipino women (an author, a healthcare worker and activist, and a creative practitioner) gather for an evening of sharing, celebrating the everyday struggles and quiet triumphs of living in Aotearoa.

Come and listen to these three Filipino women - 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮, 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀, and 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗮 will talk not only about surviving adversity in a new land, but also about finding beauty and joy in everyday moments. Since immigrant groups are not monoliths and no single Filipino can speak for the entire community, we have invited these three exemplary women to have their say on the immigrant experience, carving out space for the multiplicity and richness of Filipino immigrant stories in Aotearoa.
