Easy German: Behind the Scenes and Q&A

Easy German, Goethe-Institut New Zealand and Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington invite you to meet Cari and Janusz, the hosts of Easy German. While travelling through Australia and New Zealand, they will visit Wellington to talk about their work on the streets of Berlin, share some behind-the-scenes insights, and answer your questions in a Q&A session.

What is Easy German?
Easy German originally started as a passion project by Janusz and Cari in Münster, Germany. In 2014, Janusz and Cari decided to move to Berlin to transform Easy German into something more than just a hobby. Fast forward 10 years, this YouTube channel evolved into a full-time job for a team of more than ten people. Their journey has led them to create and publish hundreds of videos and podcast episodes, touching the lives of millions of people around the world.
Easy German is an online video series that provides German learners around the world with authentic learning material. They show the German language as it is spoken on the street and among friends at home. Their two weekly shows contain interviews with people from different cities and present daily life in Germany, covering a wide range of topics and fluency levels.
