In June we are going to look at the WREMO (Wellington Regional Emergency Management Office) information about Brooklyn, which hasn’t been done since 2019 and really needs to be updated - you might have noticed a few relevant things happen since then.

This information is part of the Community Hub kit which lives at Brooklyn School and will also be added to the DIRT kit in our container. It covers the assets we have in our area along things that might be particular risks or challenges for us in an emergency.  

We will kick off the DIRT book club too - so suggest the books that you’ve found good in relation to thinking about, preparing for, or just having a fun read about disaster and disruption. We can compare and share what we’ve learned and enjoyed.
