Leading mistletoe expert and hands-on conservation practitioner, Trevor Thompson, will share insights into the ecology of these beautiful yet elusive plants, how he is propagating them, and the challenges they face across our landscapes.

From habitat loss to seed dispersal and browsing impacts, learn what is threatening the survival of these special plants and what’s being done to protect them. Come along to deepen your understanding, ask questions, and discover how we can help ensure these special species remain part of our ngahere for generations to come.

This event will be held in the Pāteke Room in the Visitor Centre with light refreshments provided. Doors open at 6:15pm, parking is available at both our Visitor Centre and overflow parking area on Birdwood Street.
