The trail was established, as part of Telford's 50th anniversary celebrations, in 2018. We will then descend via the attractive Horsehay Pool , Lawley and Paddock Mound, before skirting some striking new housing. You may want to consider using a walking pole or poles. Please refer to the overview of the walls which give more detail.Good walking boots/walking shoes are essential on all of walks. Wear/carry clothing for wet and sunny weather. We can have both in the same day!Some sections of the routes may be overgrown and have nettles and brambles, so consider sleeve and trouser lengths for your own comfort.Please come prepared for the walk, with water, drinks, snacks and food as appropriate for the length, duration and effort of the walk as it is rarely possible to purchase items on route.Please also be aware that toilet facilities and seating are limited on most of the routes.Be mindful of any recent rainfall that may also make some of the routes muddy and consider using walking poles.
