Dr. Stephanie Kafie, MD CCFP (COE), is a Catholic wife, mother of 4, family physician, and founder of Canada’s only physician-led natural family planning (NFP) clinic Totally Yours Family Medicine. She completed fellowship training in "Care of the Elderly" and works as an attending physician at local nursing homes and Hotel Dieu–Shaver Health and Rehabilitation Centre. She provides palliative care to dying patients and is passionate about providing care from conception to natural death. Dr. Kafie is also an Assistant Clinical Professor (Adjunct) at McMaster University where she teaches medical students and medical residents. She brings the perspective of a “Doctor Mom” to her work with the medical training to guide families and the life experience to provide compassionate care. 

The “Messages of Hope Speaker Series” — a Jubilee 2025 initiative — learn about hope, reflect, & explore ways to restore hope in our world that desperately yearns for it. Each talk explores messages and themes that Pope Francis highlighted in the Bull of Indiction “SPES NON CONFUNDIT” Hope does not disappoint.
