🎶 Showcase Your Talent at the Concerts on the Canal Music Search! 🎶
Ready to take the stage and be part of a well-loved Welland summer tradition? The Concerts on the Canal Music Search is your chance to perform live, share your sound, and compete for a featured spot in the 2026 Concerts on the Canal lineup.
Join us on January 31st and February 1st, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at the Seaway Mall Centre Court, as local musicians and bands hit the stage and show Welland what they’ve got!
All genres are welcome—just make sure your performance is family-friendly and suitable for all ages.
✨ Prizes
1st Place:
• A fully tracked and mixed song at ToneHenge Recording Studio
• A live on-air feature on Country 89’s New Music Friday
2nd Place:
• $500 gift card to Long & McQuade
3rd Place:
• A band photoshoot with photographer Paul Schmidt
🎤 The top 3 acts will also earn a featured performance in the 2026 Concerts on the Canal summer series.

Community members are encouraged to come out, cheer on local talent, and enjoy two full days of live music. It’s a fun, energetic event filled with great performances and hometown spirit — you won’t want to miss it!
