250th Poker Run Series: Revolutionary Resolves Run

The 250th Poker Run Series is a community fundraising initiative organized by the Halifax County, NC 250th Commission to support free and open to the public events commemorating the 250th Anniversary of events such as the signing of the Halifax Resolves, The Declaration of Independence,  the fierce battles in the war for independence that followed, as well as the ratification of our great Constitution.  The Revolutionary Resolves Run is scheduled for April 11, 2026, the Patriot Run for May 9, 2026, concluding with the Legacy Run on June 13, 2026.   This series celebrates Halifax County’s Revolutionary heritage, raises monies through registrations, merchandise sales,  sponsorships, and donations, as well as fostering community engagement at each stop.
