Thüringen klingt – aber wie? Das Syndikat Gefährliche Liebschaften, engagiert für Kultur jenseits der Großstadt, hat reingehorcht: bei Festumzügen, Bratwurstpartys, Skisprung-Cups und Osterfeuern. Das Land klang nach K-Pop, Klassik, Hardtekk und Volkslied. Auf dem Weimarer Theaterplatz geben lokale Musiker:innen und Chöre an zehn Abenden reihum den Takt vor. Gemeinsam mit dem Syndikat haben sie neue Sounds für Thüringens Gegenwart und Zukunft entwickelt – zum Ausprobieren mit Publikum und Passant:innen. Die neuen Melodien und Texte schaffen Raum für Widerspruch, Gegenerzählungen und Träume. Das gemeinsame Einstudieren und der Austausch über Hintergründe öffnen einen sozialen und politischen Raum.

Thuringia sounds - but how? The syndicate Gefährliche Liebschaften, committed to culture beyond the big city, has listened in: at parades, bratwurst parties, ski jumping cups and Easter bonfires. The country sounded like K-pop, classical music, hard rock and folk songs. On Weimar's Theaterplatz, local musicians and choirs set the pace on ten evenings in a row. Together with the Syndikat, they have developed new sounds for Thuringia's present and future - for the audience and passers-by to try out. The new melodies and lyrics create space for contradiction, counter-narratives and dreams. Rehearsing together and sharing background information opens up a social and political space.
