PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS DANCE IS BEING  HELD ON THE THIRD FRIDAY OF APRIL.  IF YOU ARRIVE AT THE MONDAY CLUB ON THE FOURTH FRIDAY, THE LADIES OF THE MONDAY CLUB MAY PUT YOU TO WORK SETTING UP THEIR WEEKEND RUMMAGE SALE.

However, on the third Friday, there will be lovely music and wonderful dances to enchant you.  This evening is for people who enjoy dances choreographed from the late 1600's to the present day.  This is for the fans of Jane Austen and those who are immersed in the TV series Bridgerton.  It is also for those who have never done English Country Dancing.  We enjoy sharing these dances and hope you will give this dance program a whirl. If we have enough people in need of a short lesson, this is done from 6:45 pm to 7:00 pm.  The dance itself begins at 7:00 pm.

Two callers will share their favorite dances.  The talented Karen Jackson will call half the evening.  Lizzy Wernert is taking the plunge from occasion calling to one half of the evening.  Both of these women will do a wonderful job.

The music is provided by the band Ragged Robin.  Martha Edwards plays the violin, Bill Boyer is the keyboardist, and Tim Hirzel provides sounds from various woodwinds and percussion instruments.  

All these wonderful sounds will be coordinated by our soundman, Mike Thum.

Wear comfortable clothing and shoes and bring a water bottle.

Admission is $10 for adults; $5 for adults.  Payment can be made with cash, check, Venmo, and PayPal.
