This biopic has Adjani as the title character, a young sculptor in a doomed relationship with the older, married Auguste Rodin (Gérard Depardieu). Camille Claudel is a lush story of art and madness and was shot by Pierre Lhomme, who like its star won a César for his work here, and who’d previously been the director of photography on the Adjani-starring Quartet (also playing as part of Adjanuary).
