The Webster City Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce a ribbon cutting ceremony for Monika Arends of AKP Health Insurance, on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at 12:00 PM. The celebration marks the opening of Arends' new office, located at 1527 Superior Street, Suite D, in the lower level of the Heffernan Chiropractic building.
Community members, fellow business owners, and friends are invited to attend the event, which will include refreshments, giveaways, and a brief program prior to the official ribbon cutting shortly after noon.
With a career in the health insurance industry since 2015, Monika Arends brings a decade of experience to her work. AKP Health Insurance offers a wide range of customized insurance solutions tailored to fit individual needs and budgets. Arends emphasizes a personal, client-first approach, stating, “Let me help you look at options based on your budget and needs. No one wants to give their pocketbook away to premiums.”
A native of Chicago, Illinois, Arends moved to Hamilton County in 2009. Since then, she has lived in Stratford and currently resides in Williams, Iowa. She is well known for her active community involvement across Hamilton County, including in Stratford, Williams, and Webster City.
