This sacred home - which protects us and holds community and Fire - loves a good Dancy Party!We've been hosting monthly sacred fires since 2002 when the fire pit was first consecrated and we were called to this community service. After 3 earnest attempts, a studier structure was finally built. Then on March 10th, 2012, this place was consecrated with special offerings and ceremony and given its name and purpose--- to be a beacon where people from all the directions come to gather to be restored and renewed so they can go back out into the world and be beacons for connection and heart themselves. During the consecration, over 100 people gathered and were woven together through Fire, traditional song, prayer and dancing.Join us for the Sacred Fire Council House's annual birthday party.In addition, this year we offer you something very special - - Sacred Ashes! As stewards of this consecrated hearth, we are charged with the responsibility of caring for the ashes that Grandfather Fire has produced through the power of transformation. At certain times, people are invited to come to this sacred place and collect ashes for the benefit and protection of their homes and land. This is one of those rare and special times.6:00 - 7:00 pm - collect sacred ash to protect your home and land. Instructions on use of the ash are given when you arrive.7:00 - 10:00 pm - Toast + social fire + dancing.
