What’s the Murph?

The Murph Challenge is not just a physical test, but also a mental and emotional one. 

Participants are pushed to their limits and are encouraged to keep pushing through the pain and exhaustion, just as Lieutenant Murphy did during his final moments. 

The event is held annually on Memorial Day, and people from all over the world come together to honor Lieutenant Murphy and all those who have given their lives in service to our country. 

The Murph Challenge is a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made by our military and a testament to the strength and resilience of the human spirit.

The Workout:

1 Mile Run
100 Pull ups 
200 Push Ups 
300 Squats 
1 Mile Run
- wearing a 20lbs vest or body armor 

*can be partitioned 
*can be without a vest
*can do it with a partner
*all fitness levels encouraged to participate 

See you at the SWOSU Football Field at 0800 on Memorial Day!

Not ready to take on the Murph? 

That’s OK! This year we want to bring together even more people with a community Flag 5k. All this is a flat track 5k around the SWOSU Football Field. It will start at the exact same time as the Murph Challenge.

Stay around after and enjoy 1st Phorm post workout shakes, snacks and camaraderie.
