- **Event Description**: The community is invited to audition for the Marjorie Alkek Community Musical production of Into the Woods.

Auditions: May 2, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Callbacks: May 3, 5 to 10 p.m.

Performances:
July 24, 25, 31, and Aug. 1 at 7 p.m., and July 26 and Aug. 2 at 2 p.m. 


Rehearsals begin June 8, with a more consistent schedule beginning June 15. Regular rehearsals run Monday through Thursday from 6 to 10 p.m. and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. 
(Not all actors are called to every rehearsal, and they usually don’t run all the way until 10 p.m.)

AUDITIONS: Anyone in the community ages 6+ is invited to audition. Roles for children under 13 are limited and non-speaking.

PREPARE FOR AUDITIONS:

Acting auditions will consist of cold readings from the script.

For the music audition, you should be prepared to sing a 24-32 measure ballad and an up-tempo musical theatre selection. You must bring your own accompaniment, but a Bluetooth speaker is provided. Please avoid singing songs from the show.

Dance auditions will only take place at callbacks.
