Come out on Saturday May 16th to celebrate another amazing spring in the loveliest town we know. This year's Last Frost Festival will feature our fan-favorite Native Plants Raffle! The raffle will include over a dozen wildflower, shrub, and tree species native to Haywood County, including Dwarf Crested Iris, Wild Indigo, Eastern Redbud, Carolina All-Spice, Scarlet Beebalm, American Hazelnut, Downy Skull-Cap, Wild Columbine, and many more! Tickets are available at the manager’s tent for $1, and all proceeds go to supporting market operations.
 
This year, we're introducing a fun new kid's activity, too, our Inaugural Mammoth Sunflower Contest! Kids can stop by the manager's tent to plant a sunflower seed and, come September, whoever has the tallest one wins a treat!
