First Sunday of Advent

The Seasons of Advent and Christmas bring with them stories of persons who participated in the birth of Jesus in both large and small ways. Each week, we will meet one of these Witnesses to the Wonder and hear of the events from his/her perspective. On this First Sunday of Advent, we will hear from the Prophet Isaiah who will speak of the One who is to come who will exstablish a kingdom righteousness and peace (Isaiah 9:2-7). Additionally, the Chancel Choir will share Joel Raney's "Light of Hope" with the lighting of each Sunday's Advent candle.
