Ignite your storytelling spark in this interactive workshop that brings creative writers together across genres—short stories, novel chapters, screenplays, academic articles, poems, songwriting, and more. Discover practical approaches to the art of collective writing and learn tools and techniques you can tap into for future projects. Through immersive exercises, lively discussions, and real-time co-creation, you’ll explore how to merge diverse imaginations, conquer writer’s block, and craft stories that resonate deeply. This single-evening workshop is $45. The class will take place at Stone Soup Books in Waynesboro (402 W Main St.)

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
J. Scott Price earned an MFA in Writing from the Vermont College of Fine Arts and is a Fellow of the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts. He's a sucker for good musical theater, was a Soldier for 24 years, and enjoys working with his partner as they build Poet and Printmaker Farm in Faber, Virginia.
