# Event Details - **Event Name**: BASICWEEN with THE WAHOOKIES, SOULCRY & XOAP AT THE FOUNDRY! - **Event Start and End Date**: Sat, 31 Oct, 2026 at 08:00 pm (-04:00) - **Event Description**: BASICWEEN: A HALLOWEEN NIGHT AT THE FOUNDRY Something wicked is brewing in Basic City. This Halloween, the lights go down, the volume goes up, and The Foundry opens its doors for BASICWEEN — a full night of live music, costumes, cold beer, strange creatures, questionable decisions and whatever else crawls out after dark. On Saturday, October 31st, three bands descend on The Foundry stage: The WaHookies, SOULCRY and XOAP. The WaHookies are no strangers to stages around the Shenandoah Valley, bringing a live show built for a crowd ready to cut loose. SOULCRY brings the heavier side of the night, mixing covers with their own original rock and roll. Their Barn Burners EP delivers exactly the kind of soundtrack you'd expect on Halloween night — including "Howling," "Burn" and "Night of the Knife." Then there's XOAP. Based right here in Waynesboro, XOAP has built its own strange little musical universe around original music, community and live experiences — making them a perfect addition to the BASICWEEN madness. BASICWEEN COSTUME CONTEST Stick around after SOULCRY's set when we summon our best-dressed creatures to the floor for the official BASICWEEN Costume Contest! We're crowning winners in three categories: - SCARIEST - MOST SEDUCTIVE - FUNNIEST Each winner takes home a Basic City Beer Co.
