Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble

Musical artistry shapes the Wayne State College Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble concert Tuesday, March 3 at 7:30 p.m. in Ramsey Theatre. Repertoire includes the folksong montage “Kentucky-1800” by Clare Grundman, the vibrant depiction of Nebraska landscapes in “Niobrara River Sketches” by Larry MacTaggart, the high-energy “Incantation and Dance” by John Barnes Chance, and the exuberant “Folk Dances” by Dmitri Shostakovich.
