Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble

The Wayne State College Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble perform Tuesday, November 18 at 7:30 p.m. in Ramsey Theatre. Repertoire honors heritage and childhood. Selections include “The Pioneer’s Passage” by Robert Sheldon, a tribute to American settlers; the rich tapestry of “Norwegian Folk Song Suite” by Frank Erickson; the whimsical “Children’s March” by Percy Grainger; and the charming “A Child’s Embrace” by Charles Rochester Young.
