Nothing exists in a silo. Our health is deeply interdependent with the health of our soil, planet, and food systems. This presentation will provide a glimpse into the world of agriculture – exploring the ways our farming practices may impact our health & how shifting our food system holds potential for improving public health. Together, we will reimagine what a more intersectional, regenerative food system could look like.

About The Functional Forum
The Functional Forum is the world’s largest integrative medicine conference. On the first Monday of every month, this new concept in practitioner education, “medutainment”, brings together the latest health news, functional medicine research, practice development and health technology in an upbeat, entertaining way.
We curate the industry’s leading innovators in a mixed-media format that combines interviews, TED-style talks, videos, audience interaction, and music. You can learn more about Functional Forum Meetup and its previous conferences here.
Each monthly episode will focus on a different medical specialty and connect the value of a functional medicine approach to its evolution. This comes at a time where use of specialists is becoming an ever more costly drag on medical systems worldwide.
Each Forum will provide practitioners from all walks of medicine, not only Primary Care and Family Medicine, but all the integrative professions, with the clinical keys and practical emerging models to deliver truly effective predictive, preventive, and participatory medicine.
With our unprecedented global Meetup infrastructure, we will also seek to create new relationships locally between current specialists and with integrative providers in order to stimulate the creation of the specialty centers of the future.
Who Should Attend?
Our events create dialogue between practitioners that are sharing best practices, asking tough questions, and helping each other to create the greatest impact with their patients and communities. It gives you the opportunity to not only network but also, keep your finger on the pulse of what’s happening in your own healthcare community.
The purpose of our Functional Forum local meetup groups is to empower physicians and providers to deliver high value, community focused, root cause resolution medicine. Our mission is to help to develop a community of practitioners in our area who “get it”, to build your referral network, add value to your practice, our local community, and the movement at large.
Please join our Facebook group Functional Forum Philly Main Line for information about upcoming Functional Forum meetings, as well as programs and events by our organizers and sponsors that may be of interest to you and/or your patients/clients.
