This beginner-friendly workshop is designed for brand new players and will walk you through the basics of American Mahjong in a hands-on, easy-to-follow format. You’ll learn the essential materials and vocabulary, how to read the National Mah Jongg League card, how to build winning hands, and play through a full game while gaining confidence with the fundamental rules.

Each participant will receive a high-quality Mahjong 101 lesson packet, plus a few fun extras to use again and again.

This is a great opportunity to gather your friends for a social night out — feel free to bring outside food, your favorite snacks, or even a charcuterie board to enjoy during the workshop. BYOB for guests 21+; please drink responsibly.

Guests should arrive 15 minutes early to get settled.
