IT'S BEGINNING TO LOOK A LOT LIKE CHRISTMAS!
Well, not yet. But it is time to make plans to attend the Waverly Senior Center's Holiday Dinner as part of the Waverly Chamber of Commerce's Christmas Greetings on Main.
The Senior Center's Holiday Dinner will be held Thursday, December 11, at the Senior Center, 506 E. Bremer Ave.
We'll start at 5:30 p.m., with a Bassoon Trio featuring Diana Blake, Debbie Baker and Ellen Watermann.
At 6:15 p.m., we'll have a program on beautiful table settings presented by Diane Freestate.
At 6:30, dinner will be served, and piano music will be provided by Teri Meier.
We will be serving Wisconsin Cheese Soup, Garden Salad with Poppyseed or Raspberry Vinaigrette Dressing, Pork Loin with Cranberry Orange Sauce, Roasted Red Potatoes, Steamed Broccoli, and a Dinner Roll topped off with a Chocolate Dessert.
Tickets are only $40 each and must be reserved by December 9, by calling the Waverly Senior Center, 319-352-5678.
