The Children’s House Child Advocacy Center
Your participation and support will help provide essential services to children and families affected by abuse and neglect. The Children’s House offers a comprehensive, child-centered approach to healing and justice. Services include forensic interviews, providing a safe and supportive environment where children can share their experiences with specially trained professionals. Family advocacy services help guide families through the emotional, medical, and legal challenges they face during a crisis. Children also have access to trauma-focused therapy, offering specialized counseling to help them heal and recover. Additionally, on-site medical exams are conducted by professionals trained in child abuse evaluations, ensuring each child's health and safety are carefully assessed. Beyond response services, prevention education programs are offered to schools, parents, and community members to raise awareness and help prevent abuse before it happens. Through multidisciplinary team coordination, The Children’s House works closely with law enforcement, child protective services, prosecution, and medical providers to ensure a streamlined, compassionate, and effective response for every child.
