Join NCCT for an invasive species workday at the Suszko Ridge Preserve in Waushara County! Hand pull and bag invasive species including spotted knapweed, hoary alyssum, white campion, hawkweed, and sheep sorrel. Pick up trash along the roadside and parking area.
All experience levels welcome, training will be provided. NCCT will provide tools and personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves for anyone who needs them.

-Meet at the Suszko Ridge parking area on Blackhawk Road in Wautoma.
-Directions: From Hwy 73, go west on Brown Deer Drive for 0.9 miles, then go north on Blackhawk Road for 0.25 miles. Look for the white NCCT EVENT signs.
-Parking: after the parking area is full, park on the south side of the road as far off the pavement as (safely) possible.
-Please bring: water/beverage, lunch and snacks, sunscreen and insect repellant, leather work gloves, safety glasses, rain gear, and anything else you need for a comfortable and safe volunteer experience.
-Please wear long pants, long sleeve shirt/layers, and close toed shoes.
