Please join us for the Marathon County Historical Society’s 27th annual Vintage Springtime Tea on Thursday, March 12, 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Woodson History Center (410 McIndoe Street, Wausau). This beloved spring tradition invites guests to enjoy an afternoon tea featuring thoughtfully prepared sweet and savory courses, paired with a custom-blended tea, all set within one of Wausau’s most beautiful historic spaces.
This year’s tea will also feature local cooking and entertaining author Veronica Hinke, who will share the history of tea in America, exploring tea traditions and tea-time recipes from the Victorian, Edwardian, and Prohibition eras. It’s a lovely way to connect history, hospitality, and community in a relaxed and elegant setting.
Tickets are $35 for MCHS Members and $40 for Non-Members. Reservations are required by Wednesday, March 4, 2026. Seating is limited, and no tickets will be sold at the door. Tickets are available by phone at (715) 842-5750, online [link below], or in person at the Woodson History Center.
