- **Event Description**: Jazz on the River's last concert of the season is on Sunday, August 16th: Point of Jazz.  

FREE 5 to 7 pm at Kickbusch Plaza in downtown Wausau WI, (just west of the downtown library)

Made up of UW-Stevens Point graduates, the Point of Jazz Quintet plays jazz standards, original music, and contemporary compositions. Mat Chapman (trumpet), Jayce Gorski (saxophone), Kadin Yach (piano), Colt Maichle (drums) and Jessie Crandall (bass) grew as musicians together while in school and continue to play as a group with the goal of making great music while having fun. 

There is parking. Bring a chair. Chang's Best Eggrolls is our food truck, or you can bring your own picnic. 

Rain location is Faraway Place (formerly Malarkey’s), 408 N Third St. in downtown Wausau. If we are switching to the rain location we will post that here on Facebook by 2 pm day of the concert.
