- **Event Description**: “Lord, teach us to pray.”  The disciples brought that request to our Lord Jesus, and so do we.  He sets us an example and gives us words to pray. We will explore this treasury each Wednesday in Lent, seeking a deeper and more focused practice of daily prayer. 

Our guide will be Holy Scripture and the Daily Prayers provided in the Small Catechism.  They teach us to mark morning, evening, and mealtime with remembrance of Holy Baptism, the Word of God, petition, and thanksgiving.  These simple practices exercise our union with Jesus Christ, through whom all our prayers come to the throne of God.

	    (1 Timothy 4:1-10; Psalm 145:10-21; Mark 8:1-10)

March 18: Table Prayer: Returning Thanks
	    (Deuteronomy 26:1-11; Mark 14:22-26)

March 25: Keep Watch with Me 
            (Psalm 55:4-8, 16-19, 22; Mark 14:32-42)
