Mindfulness Practices for Wellbeing
A return to breath. A return to body. A return to now.
In a world that asks us to move faster, mindfulness invites us to move deeper.
This workshop is an introduction to simple, accessible practices that support clarity, steadiness, and nervous system regulation. We’ll explore what mindfulness truly is (beyond the buzzword), how it works in the brain and body, and what science reveals about its impact on stress, mood, and overall wellbeing.
Together, we will practice:
• Guided Focus: Observing the World Around You — training attention through gentle awareness
• Abdominal / Yogic Breathing — grounding the body through the breath
• Alternate Nostril Breathing — balancing and centering the nervous system
• Humming of the Bee (Bhramari) — soothing internal noise and cultivating calm
• Guided Focus: Feeling the Inner Spaces — turning awareness inward with curiosity and compassion
Expect a blend of modern research and ancient practices. No prior experience necessary — just a willingness to pause.
$30 to be paid when you arrive for the workshop.
