Projects are available in a wide range of areas- from lab-based science (like molecular biology, genetics, and omics) to clinical research, epidemiology, mental health, public health, and early life influences on health.Our researchers work on important health issues, including cancer, brain health, immunity, infection, rural and regional health, and more.This course is designed for students who have finished a Bachelor's degree in a related area. You’ll carry out your own research project, learn new skills, and get a deeper understanding of health and medical science.If you're curious about how research helps us understand disease, improve treatments, or create better health outcomes, whether in the lab, the clinic, or the community- this session is for you!Visit School of Medicine Project Listing to view the list of available Honours projects for the 2027 intake (please note that additional projects may be added between now and September).The session will be held on campus at Deakin’s Geelong Waurn Ponds campus. We recommend coming in person if possible as it’s a great way to meet supervisors and ask questions. Light refreshments will be provided at the end.Can’t come in person?
